Hi-spec Design and Build offer a comprehensive service for our clients.

Offering the client 1 stop shop for their project. This helps our clients in a number of ways. As they have one point of contact through our company for planning design structural calculations and the build itself. This means that if minor changes are required on site they can be done swiftly and without the stress of the client having to contact individual architects Engineers and trying to liaise with all including the builder. The whole concept of design and build is second to none. 

Most architects will offer a price for drawings for planning and charge astronomical fees for this service for a two storey extension these drawings would normally be around £2000-3000. Then they will charge a second fee for the same extension to provide you building regulation drawings and these could be additional £3000 plus.

We do one set of drawings for planning and building regulations alike. we charge on fee for these drawings which includes initial consultation feasibility survey, application for planning these drawings are yours and you will be able to provide them to any contractor to tender for the work. If you decide to award the job to us we then credit you the price of the drawings back at the end of the project so technically your drawings will be free of charge.

Hi spec Design Build offer planning and building regulation technical drawings of an exceptionally high standard (all produced in an Auto-CAD computer format) at very competitive prices

Because every project is individual to its circumstances Hi-spec design does not have a specific fixed 'price list', however listed below are some example projects previously undertaken and their associated prices.

  • Double storey extension. Feasibility, Planning and Building Control drawings and submission, includes site visits/ liaison with Authorities - £1200
  • Single storey extension. Feasibility, Planning and Building Control drawings and submission, includes site visits/liaison with Authorities - £900
  • Garage Conversion Feasibility, Planning and Building Control drawings and submission, includes site visits/liaison with Authorities - £650
